About this piece
Every ball is rolled by hand between wet, soapy palms until the wool fibres lock. There is no machine step anywhere in the process.
Wool is naturally flame-resistant and handles a hot pan without scorching. The earth-tone set runs through undyed cream, madder, walnut brown and indigo.
Made by a Kathmandu cooperative that employs about forty women; felting is among the better-paid craft work available in the valley.

Care & keeping
Spot clean with cool water and a little wool soap. Reshape while damp and dry flat. Pilling can be shaved off gently with a fabric comb.

Free tracked shipping worldwide, with no minimum. We pack and dispatch from Kathmandu within 1–2 business days. Nepal deliveries usually arrive in 1–2 days; international orders in 5–12 business days depending on your country's customs.
Import duties and taxes in your own country are not included and are payable by you.
