About this piece
Tingsha are cast rather than raised, then turned and hand-filed until the pair rings in tune with each other. Ours are matched to within a few cents, which matters — a mismatched pair produces a beating wobble instead of a clean tone.
Held by the cord and struck perpendicular, they carry for a surprisingly long time. Held flat and clashed, they give a shorter, brighter mark.

Made by Bhaktapur bell casters.
Care & keeping
Wipe with a dry cloth. A darkening patina is normal on hand-raised bronze and many owners prefer it; if you want it bright, use a little tamarind paste or a proprietary brass polish and buff dry. Never put it in a dishwasher.

Import duties and taxes in your own country are not included and are payable by you.
