About this piece
The bell and dorje are held together in Vajrayana ritual, the bell in the left hand for wisdom and the dorje in the right for method. They are made and sold as a pair for that reason.
Cast in bell bronze and hand-finished; the bell rings clean and sustains for well over twenty seconds. The handle carries the face of Prajnaparamita beneath a half-dorje.

Care & keeping
Wipe with a dry cloth. A darkening patina is normal on hand-raised bronze and many owners prefer it; if you want it bright, use a little tamarind paste or a proprietary brass polish and buff dry. Never put it in a dishwasher.
